One cannot take the breeze of the WIND.

One cannot take the shine of a DIAMOND.

One cannot take the waves of the SEA.

'Tis cos, All these are meant to be FREE.

I had the same presumption about your HEART.
But you proved that ‘twas a fault on my PART.

Honey!!The minute you truly became MINE.

God knows, I literally was on the CLOUD NINE.

I'm totally lost in a lovely FEELING.

Honey, You are so APPEALING.

I want to hold you in my ARMS.

You please me with your CHARMS.

Today again there's nothing NEW.

I can only tell you DARLING!! I LOVE YOU.

Since long I wanted to tell you SOMETHING,

Trust me; I’m completely sure of this THING.

Your presence in my life could mean EVERYTHING,

And to win dear your acceptance I’ll do ANYTHING.

For the time being Oh my darling! Please accept this RING,

Forgive me please but there were no roses to BRING.

Even among a vast crowd of a THOUSAND AND EIGHT,

We surely will stand out for each other as beacons of LIGHT.

To keep away the gloom we shall put up a perpetual FIGHT,

‘Cos in our life the sun of happiness shall forever shine BRIGHT.

Always maintain the same happy relation with your WIFE,

Don't even think of getting into any sort of minor STRIFE.

Guys this one was the first ever poem I've penned down.....

Everyday I meet someone NEW,

But never again I found another YOU.

The world’s full of people ‘tis TRUE,

But never again there will be another YOU.

Everywhere and Everyday in my WORLD,

There is your PRESENCE AND HOLD.

All I can wish is when I grow OLD,

Only you would be there for me to HOLD.

Going down the MEMORY LANE,

Even when I need a WALKING CANE.

Losing you has become a BANE,

Please don’t allow me to WANE.

I need your presence FOREVER AND EVER,

At least as a FRIEND if not as a LOVER.

Love is very precious I definitely accept,
But friendship is even more valuable.....
Lose your LOVE for the sake of FRIENDSHIP and you'll  be happy,
But never ever lose your FRIENDSHIP for the sake of LOVE because then LIFE WILL BE HELL.

Once I had seen a beautiful angel at the HARDWAR RAILWAY STATION,

From then on to know the girl’s details had become my VOCATION.

I was overjoyed when I saw her the next time at the same PLACE,

I secretly hoped for her to fall in love with my not so handsome FACE.

I had spoken out the three magical words “143” with lots of BRAVERY,

But I’d never realized that it would lead to a pact of lifelong SLAVERY.

Yeah Guys!! She had accepted my humble and timid PROPOSAL,

But only so that in the end I would be at her complete DISPOSAL.

So be warned guys, A gal may be cute, A gal may be SWEET,

But in the end you’ll have be following her every single TWEET.

Remember to put your own self first & always maintain a level of TRUST,

Otherwise your relation will be like walking on a very hot CRUST.

I have given you people the best possible ADVICE,

Use it wisely and even your pocket money will SUFFICE.

Guys!! You blindly accept these facts of LIFE,

And you’ll have a very happy and contented WIFE…… ;)

THE OVERCAST CLOUDS IN THE ABOVE SKY

REMIND US THAT OUR TEARS WILL NEVER DRY.

THE SILVERY DISC IN THE NIGHT YOU CALL THE MOON

TELLS US THAT HAPPINESS WILL BE BACK TO US SOON.

THE HEAVY GALE AND THE TEMPESTUOUS STORM

NEEDN’T BE AN INDICATION OF THE IMPENDING DOOM.

THE HEAVENLY GLOW AT THE POLES CALLED AURORA

IS A SHOW OF YOUR LIFE IN A SPLENDID AURA.

COMPARE YOUR LIFE WITH EVERYTHING IN THIS NATURE

‘COS AFTER ALL EVEN YOU’RE A LIVING CREATURE.

WHEN EVER YOU'RE IN A PROBLEM DON'T START WHINING.

REMEMBER THAT EVERY DARK CLOUD HAS A SILVER LINING.

Have you ever felt that life isn’t fair…?

Or just for a few moments delve into you past and try to recollect an instance when you’ve felt that something terrible and devastating has happened to you when you least deserve it……

Well if your answer is a ‘no’ then you are surely lying to yourself. Stop doing that….

And if your answer is yes then read on to compare your life with this story….

                This is a story of a close friend of mine. He is a very smart guy. When I say smart I really mean it because he was an all-rounder. His intelligence was par excellence. He had the gift of bringing anything to life using a pencil or a brush. He is also a national level chess player. And when he doesn’t paint or play chess he participates in professional bike races. So all in all he had the best of everything in life. Yeah yeah!!! I know life isn’t fair. He can’t have everything right……

                As the tale goes on he met with an accident when he was in his intermediate. He had to lose one precious academic year because of that. That on year gap has set back his academic life in a horrible manner. It went to the extent that while his close friend were frolicking in IIT’s and BITS he had to settle down with a dull and boring life in a private engineering college. But he never lost his hope or his focus on the target he has set himself. The college life passed on quite easily and quickly for him and he was soon in his final year of engineering. It was then that he got the biggest chance of his life. He got a chance to attempt an “OFF CAMPUS PLACEMENT DRIVE” by “TATA MOTORS”. And what next….he got placed in the esteemed organization as a senior plant engineer with a pay package of “Rs 4.2 Lakh/Annum”. If he wouldn’t have met with the accident then he might have been studying with his friends but now he got the chance of a lifetime.

                So now tell me….

Should he be brooding over his past and cry over it??

(Or)

Should he be thankful to god for that incident??

                Always remember that

2.”ALWAYS ACCEPT LIFE THE WAY IT COMES TO US.”

3. “STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT WHAT YOU’VE LOST IN LIFE AND START REJOICING WITH WHATEVER YOU’VE GOT.”

I had stumbled into the real world with a tight WHACK,

Oh dear!! By hook or crook I’ll definitely win you BACK.

In your absence the whole world seemed dry and DESOLATE,

I felt I was walking through the UGANDAN VISA CONSULATE.

Baby!! Please do me a favor and soon try to return BACK,

I truly promise you, we will live ever after happily in tiny SHACK…….
